Penny Appeal’s beloved Super Muslim Comedy Tour has been honoured with a ‘Highly Commended’ prize at the 2022 British Muslim Awards. The tour has become a celebrated occasion in the Penny Appeal calendar over the years. It provides hilarious family-friendly entertainment, raises funds for lifesaving projects, and allows young volunteers to get involved in fundraising and be part of the #TeamOrange movement for social change.
This year, Penny Appeal’s founder, Adeem Younis, has pledged to work with 100 schools, particularly those in impoverished areas across the UK, to help inspire the younger generation, broaden their horizons, and share with them real life examples of how to defy the odds and pursue their dreams.
