On Thursday 17th July until the end of Ramadan, Penny Appeal attempted to break the World Record for the longest Televised Charity Appeal. Our team at Penny Appeal aimed to smash the previous record of 181 hours by broadcasting live 24/7 on British Muslim TV, Sky channel 845, throughout the last ten days of Ramadan.
On the weekend of the 19th and 20th of July, our Ilm Fast Iftaar dinners were held in Manchester and Bradford, dedicated to raising vital funds for Penny Appeal’s Gaza Emergency Response Appeal.
