Today Penny Appeal re-launches the Real Change section of the website to provide supporters with detailed information on the ways in which the charity is helping the children and communities that it supports.
Everest Base Camp trekker, Ishtiaq Hussain, is inviting supporters and friends to the Deaf Eid Festival at Walsall Deaf Centre on 19th November 2011. A Bradford-based film-maker has decided to take on the ultimate challenge in the name of charity. Twenty-eight-year-old Atif Mahmood from Lidget Green, Bradford will be one of 12 people hiking to the Base Camp of Mount Everest. This extreme expedition is being organised by the charity Penny Appeal and is in aid of victims of the 2010 Pakistan Floods.
The Mind Body & Spirit Charity Fair, which took place at Bradford Playhouse on Saturday 17th September, has raised a total of £1007.15 for Penny Appeal.
