The holy month for so many is here, and there’s a lot to look forward to. This Ramadan we’re celebrating the first year of Hifz Orphan, our campaign to help children become hafiz of the Holy Qur’an. We’ve identified thousands more sponsorships – orphans who desperately need your support – so please become a Hifz Orphan sponsor this Ramadan.

We’ve had two hugely successful tours recently, which will allow us to transform more lives worldwide.

Our intrepid #TeamOrange volunteers reached new heights at the weekend – they conquered Mount Snowdon!

It’s national Volunteers’ Week, and we think our #TeamOrange volunteers are the best in the country! “Whether they’re doing a bungee jump, running a marathon, hosting a cake sale or helping out at an event, #TeamOrange volunteers are there with a smile,” said Ridwana Wallace-Laher, Fundraising and National Volunteers Manager.

Daring members of #TeamOrange did a 160ft bungee jump at the weekend to help the people of Syria.

Thanks to your donations, Penny Appeal teams have been able to deliver vital aid to the people of Gaza, helping them in their daily battle to survive. You have helped provide ambulances, fully equipped medical rooms, nutritious meals, regular supplies of clean water and warm blankets.

The earthquake in Nepal was the worst disaster to hit the country in over 80 years. It has left over 8 million people in desperate need of humanitarian aid.
