A Three-City UK Tour for Gaza
In aid of Penny Appeal’s ongoing Gaza Emergency Appeal, globally renowned Egyptian nasheed artist Mohamed Tarke joined us for a landmark three-city UK tour. With a global following reaching hundreds of millions online, Mohamed Tarke’s presence drew packed audiences in:
- Birmingham
- Bradford
- London
Across all these vibrant cities, the atmosphere was electric—yet deeply reflective. Attendees gathered not only to enjoy soul-stirring nasheeds but to stand in solidarity with devastated families in Gaza who continue to endure unimaginable hardship.
Over Two Years of Relentless Aid
This tour comes as Penny Appeal marks over two years of relentless humanitarian work in Gaza since the October 2023 conflict began. During this period, our teams and trusted partners have delivered:
- Emergency food parcels for displaced families.
- Clean drinking water to areas facing severe shortages.
- Essential medical supplies for overwhelmed healthcare facilities.
- Critical aid for vulnerable children and parents.
Just weeks before the tour, Penny Appeal’s major donors returned from Jordan, where they personally packed life-saving aid destined for Gaza. That spirit of hands-on compassion echoed throughout every performance.
