Penny Appeal's Winter Emergency campaign provides a lifeline for the people of Yemen, by the grace of Allah, SWT, especially those in highland areas, as they confront the challenges of extreme weather conditions and the looming spectre of homelessness.

An Ongoing Crisis in the Midst of Winter

Yemen remains one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, with 70% of its population (21.6 million people) relying on humanitarian aid to survive. Children make up a large portion of that heartbreaking statistic: over 11 million children are in desperate need of assistance.

Winter brings new challenges: the sharp drop in temperature is extremely dangerous, especially among the 3.8million homeless.

Penny Appeal is on the ground in Yemen this winter and every winter, providing blankets, warm clothes, fuel, tents, and emergency essentials.
