Violence in Gaza

Thanks to your generous donations we have been hard at work providing essential care to those afflicted by the ever-escalating violence in Gaza.

However, with the death toll at the Gaza border on the rise, the casualties of which include unarmed civilians and children, it’s vital that we continue to make efforts to support those suffering.

Families living at the border, many of whom have had to flee their homes, know nothing but loss and violence. Bombardments and near constant attacks have become part of their everyday lives.

And, with ever tightening sanctions on movement resulting in the collapse of Gaza’s fishing industry, more than a million people are being classed as “moderately-to-severely food insecure.” 

Often families don’t know when their next meal may come, and are often forced to go hungry.

Donations to Gaza

With thousands stranded and in dire need of humanitarian aid right now, your continued support is essential to provide this aid to the people of Gaza.

Penny Appeal, supporting the Hayfa Medical Hospital, is focusing on priority health needs. 

We are distributing much needed medical supplies and relief to the already overburdened hospital, whose staff treat hundreds of injured patients each day. 

With the support of Penny Appeal and the Sawaed team, the Hayfa Medical Centre installed patient beds, bed head units, patient monitors, IV stands, gas extensions and patient cupboards.

We have also provided health diagnostic services in hospitals such as Al-Awda Hospital, Gaza City and provided equipment for the Gaza Ambulance project.

We’ve managed this so far, and with your help we could do so much more.

As the prophet Mohammad (saw) said: “Allah does not look at your appearance or your possessions; but He looks at your heart and your deeds.”
