ILM FAST RAISES VITAL FUNDS FOR GAZA

On the weekend of the 19th and 20th of July, our Ilm Fast Iftaar dinners were held in Manchester and Bradford, dedicated to raising vital funds for Penny Appeal’s Gaza Emergency Response Appeal.

Both evenings featured special guest speakers Dr Abdullah Hakim Quick and Dr Reda Bedeir , who educated and inspired in equal measure, taking the 200 attendees on a spiritual journey. After dinner entertainment was provided by UK-born nasheed artist Ahmad Hussain. 

The events, held at Nawaab restaurant in Manchester and Rio Grande restaurant in Bradford, were a great success and attended by around 200 people each. 

Funds raised at the Iftaar dinners will provide life-saving support to the thousands of people affected by the current crisis in Gaza. Working with local networks already active in Gaza, Penny Appeal will supply food, household essentials and medical aid.
