Thank you for making Be The Change so special

Penny Appeal would like to give a huge thank you to the massive turnout at our very special event ‘Be The Change’, a traditional Islamic community Iftaar.

Over the last couple weeks, we’ve been on a massive six-town tour across the nation from Blackburn to Birmingham promoting the Be The Change campaign in support of our Hifz orphan appeal.

The event hosted a huge star-studded cast of inspirational key-note speakers in the subject of religion.

This all-round night of spirituality was host to the likes of Shaykh Navaid Aziz, a highly-renowned global speaker, who gave a moving talk on the ways of earning Allah’s forgiveness this Ramadan.

Additionally, we were delighted to offer presentations from award-winning writer and performer Boona Mohammed as well as TV presenter and British Imam Ajmal Massroor.

The perfect way to break a long fast, the rousing evening was topped off with a delicious Iftaar, consisting of a variety of delightful traditional dishes.

Be the change and give an Orphan a brighter future

Thanks to your support and generosity over these last weeks, we will be able to give more disadvantaged orphans a loving, caring place to call home, and thrive and develop in their religious studies in the hope for a brighter future.
