K2 Base Camp is our most extreme and challenging trek yet, so get ready to put your endurance to the test. This 23-day trip to the base camp of the world’s second-highest mountain includes 14 full days of trekking and the opportunity to explore Islamabad, Skardu and Askole.

The K2 Base Camp Trek is one of the greatest treks you will ever embark on. The Karakoram mountain range in Pakistan holds a rugged beauty beyond compare and when you’re stood at the base of K2 after 9 days of trekking along rocky mountain trails, it is then that you can truly claim to be a globe-trotting intrepid trekker!

Choose between the standard K2 base camp trek or continue via the K2 Gondogora La circuit for extreme trekkers who want to be rewarded by experiencing breath-taking views of all four 8000ers in the Baltoro region (K2, Gasherbrum 1 and 2, Broad Peaks) and other stunning peaks.

Your hiking adventure with Team Orange begins in Islamabad, Pakistan’s lively capital city, before catching a flight north to Skardu and starting your journey towards K2 Base Camp with us. This is an extreme challenge that brings with it an average of 7-8 hours of trekking most days, but rewards your hard work with towering Himalayan summits, wild mountain scenery and the rich natural beauty of Pakistan.

You’ll cross the Baltoro glacier, hike 5,100m to K2 and experience trekking over Gondogoro La on this trip, as well as getting some personal time in Islamabad, Skardu and Askole (time permitting). Our Emergency Response teams are experts at quickly, efficiently and compassionately helping people survive through conflict, famine and natural disasters. With the help of people just like you, our Emergency Response teams have protected more than 1.7 million lives from danger in the last 11 years!

Our Emergency responders are currently helping vulnerable people in Palestine, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh and more.

Syria, where 60% of hospitals are closed and 70% of all people need urgent humanitarian aid.
Lebanon, where a catastrophic explosion has destroyed large parts of Beirut, leaving 300,000 homeless.
Turkey, where Syrian and Uyghur refugees are battling to survive.
Yemen, which is experiencing the worst famine the world has seen in this century.
