All proceeds go towards our Emergency Rohingya appeal.
Over 800,000 Rohingya refugees have fled across the border from Myanmar to Bangladesh, leaving their burning homes behind. Considered the ‘world’s most persecuted minority’, many Rohingya now live in the makeshift refugee camps of Bangladesh.
These people desperately need our help to survive in cramped conditions where disease spreads quickly and many people are suffering from malnutrition and haunted by the trauma of their past.
Penny Appeal is on the ground in Bangladesh delivering life-saving food, medical aid, shelter and water solutions to thousands of Rohingya Muslims - but the need is great, and more help is urgently required.
We’re also creating Women Friendly Spaces where women can come together to heal from the sexual violence and abuse many have suffered. We’re offering support and counselling to help these women work through their trauma and have a safe space to come.
