Coventry ladies get fit and fundraise for refugees
One of our dedicated #TeamOrange volunteers, Alycia Malta, recently organised a Ladies Fitness Extravaganza, bringing 30 women together for fun activities and a chance to help refugees.
Held at Eden Girls School in Coventry, it raised over £800, which will support people fleeing conflict by providing things such as nutritious meals, warm clothing and blankets.
Attendees took part in everything from Tabata and Zumba to bootcamp, dodgeball and dance, and sponsors and supporters included Clariotts Care Coventry, Positive Youth Foundation, Crepefresh and Krusty’s.
“It was great to see women in the community get together and do something different for charity,” said Alycia.
