All aboard Clipper Ship for pioneering "Women in Business’’ event!

Starting my working day on board a Clipper Stad Amsterdam is not something I’m used to, but what a fantastic start to the day it was! 

On Thursday morning, I was invited to join fellow senior executives from esteemed enterprises for an event centered around women in business and navigating diversity and leadership. Docked next to the iconic Tower Bridge in London, we gathered on an incredible boat and engaged in an enlightening panel discussion led by accomplished women who have achieved remarkable success in senior business roles.  

Coming together with like-minded women who empower each other to achieve greatness and do their part in ensuring there is diversity within the realms of leadership, is something I am extremely passionate about. Engaging in thought-provoking discussions with expert female leaders and sharing our unique experiences and perspectives is invaluable, especially when it comes to acquiring different strategies for fostering diversity and nurturing leadership within our respective organisations.  

We were also joined by Mr. Carl Lawton, Chief Technology Officer UK, and Vice President of CDW UK, who shared his profound perspective on the convergence of technology, leadership, and inclusivity. His journey is a testament to the power of visionary leadership and equality.

Inclusivity, equality, and diversity at every level is something we hold in high regard at Penny Appeal, and so it was brilliant to come together with individuals from organisation's who share the same values.
