Afghanistan, already grappling with economic collapse, severe drought, and the ongoing challenges of decades of conflict, is now confronted with further despair. The disaster has led to a staggering number of casualties: over 3000 people have died at the hands of this calamity, 90% of these have been confirmed as women and children
As the death toll continues to rise, so does the urgency of our response. Penny Appeal remains steadfast in its commitment to stand by the Afghan people during these tumultuous times.

Penny Appeal are on the ground providing food, Hygiene and cash distributions to communities that have been most affected. £25 can provide a hygiene pack, £50 can help provide food for an entire family for one month and £300 can provide cash assistance to poor families.

If for any reason we cannot use your donation as you have indicated, we will use it to fund similar projects in other countries or other projects in the relevant country.
