Penny Appeal spreads smiles during hospital visit

As part of our Love Thy Neighbour UK work we headed down to University College London Hospitals this week to give gifts and offer moral support.

With our Serving in the Community bus packed full of toys and presents, we were able to give some joy to children and young people undergoing treatment on several of the wards.

Over 130 gift bags were handed out, but the smiles we received were countless!

Harris Iqbal, our UK Programmes Manager, said: “We feel honoured to have touched many hearts and helped create some special memories.”
