The Prophet (saw) was reported to have said:

"The best charity is to provide water.”

Dirty water kills

Three children die every minute from diseases associated with contaminated water. It is at the heart of a daily crisis faced by millions of Africa’s most vulnerable families.

This is literally your opportunity to change lives – by providing a reliable source of fresh water to a rural village community in Africa you’ll solve a number of problems in one fell swoop by raisings funds to help build a deep Water Well. As a team we hope to fund the construction of an entire water well that will serve a community day in, day out, providing them with fresh, clean water.  We all know that water is an essential need – but as well as being integral to stay hydrated, it is also indispensable to feed livestock and other animals so a regular source of income can be maintained, paving the way for the freedom of self-sufficiency we take for granted.

Get your fundraising off to a flying start by setting up your own JustGiving page to take online donations, which will be sent straight to Penny Appeal. You can also make the most of your fundraising and training efforts by sharing your story on social media. Don't forget to tag @teamorangepa for shares!
