HELP OUR RUNNERS DIG DEEP IN THIS YEARS LONDON MARATHON!

Penny Appeal's London Marathon team are Digging Deep and need your help to build deep water wells in Africa.

Our team will be running the famous 26.2 miles on Sunday 22nd April to provide water for vulnerable communities.

Every day approximately 1,000 children under five die from diseases associated with dirty water - UNICEF and World Health Organisation figures.

Every well you help build will stop children travelling for miles to collect water; it will give girls the freedom to attend school and it will save the lives of both the young and the old.

Help our runners and Dig Deep to provide safe, clean drinking water to families, mothers, children and the elderly most in need.

Dig Deep With Adeem Younis - Penny Appeal Chairman

"I wish to help provide clean fresh drinking water that we take for granted. Water is life and it is sad to see thousands without access. People cannot afford to dig out, the duty is on us as humans to help - Especially with this simple necessity."

Dig Deep With Haroon Mota - Fundraising Manager

"After my father passed away in 2013 I decided to put my running shoes back on and decided I wanted to dedicate all of my running and charity in his memory. I’ve raised thousands of pounds since, and I can’t think of a better way to leave a legacy for him. Providing the gift of water is quite priceless, and I’ve seen with my own eyes when I visited Africa, how much difference clean water can make. I’m digging deep to put in the miles, and I hope everyone can dig deep into their pockets to help build as many water wells as possible."
