For children living on the streets of Bangladesh, there is no chance to go to school. Without an education, they are trapped in poverty, spending their childhood begging or in manual labour.
You can change that by supporting our Education First centres for street children in Bangladesh.
These fully-equipped classrooms are changing futures by giving vulnerable children the chance to learn. Combining their new-found knowledge with their dreams, they have a much brighter path ahead of them.

We are already running more than 100 classrooms in the slums around the city of Sylhet and each one has space and equipment for 30 children. Pupils are taught a full curriculum according to their age and ability, with lessons following the government syllabus so they can integrate into the mainstream school system as appropriate.
Our teams on the ground work closely with families of children who don’t go to school to highlight the importance of education and encourage them to attend classes regularly. We also support each child with books, meals, uniform and shoes.
